A Few Sonos Questions

Hi guys,

I'm looking to migrate some Yamaha MusicCast connected equipment over to Sonos and wanted to ask the following:

1. Has anyone used the new Sonos Era 300s as rear speakers with their Arc + Sub BUT with the rears at significant distance from the sitting position? I'm keen to add a couple of these to add a dedicated rear channel bit given that Sonos don't offer a battery powered speaker that can connect as rears, I'm limited to putting these on a back wall (that has power sockets) that is roughly 3m behind the seating position. TV and Arc are pretty much the same distance to the front.

2. How many speakers can be safely connected to the Sonos Amp? My existing setup uses a Yamaha AV receiver to power 5 Monitor Audio Ceiling speakers. Is this doable with a single Sonos Amp? Ceiling Speakers are Monitor Audio C265's x 5

3. Can the Sonos Amp and Arc + Sub (and possibly Era's) be part of multiple groups? Given the ceiling speakers and Arc + sub are all in the same room / area, I would like to have it grouped so that the Arc + Sub + Era's are on 1 group for TV / movie watching but have another group that includes the Amp and Monitor Audio's for listening to Music.
