Budget (including currency): ca 1000€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone, Ark, Fortnite, PUBG, GTA, Far Cry 6 Coding

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am currently running a 1080p 144Hz Monitor. But I am planning to add a 1440p 144Hz Monitor. I am upgrading from a HP Elitebook 840 G1 because I can't play any of the newer games with my friends.

I built a list with some friends and would like your opinion:

PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/kaaaxcreators/saved/xRC7wP

Geizhals: https://geizhals.de/wishlists/3419395

What would you change, is it good? It is a little bit over my budge because auf AM5 and DDR5 but I think it is worth investing in the future

Your parts list are 1250EUR not 1000...

At 1250 I'd really try to get better than a 4060 :

7600 + 6700xt + 32gb 5600c30

this is about what 1000€ will get you atleast if you wanna stick to all new though you can get some pretty big improvements if you buy used

Used 6800(xt) or 3080 should be around the 350-400€ mark, both are significant upgrades over the 6700xt and i highly reccomend buying a used gpu here

Used 850w gold units like the rm(x) or equivalent usually go for around 40-60€ and are alot better than the psus that you can get new for that price so i also reccomend a used psu here

You could also ditch futureproofing and go for a used 12600k(f) or even a used 12700k(f) + z690 + 32gb ddr4 and get a used 6900xt / 3080ti instead but i dont think this is worth it unless you find a deal on a used 12700k(f)

I would like to stick to Nvidia because of personal preference.

And yes its 200€ over the budget, but I think it worth it for the future proofing, unless it isnt

Personal preference but why ? You got a deal with J Huang, he gives you some of his shares ? 😄

Problem is that the 4060 really sucks, but you can get a 4070 on your budget with some creativity

It's not "bad per se", but it's not good enough for its price : 8GB VRAM, slow bandwidth, especially when compared to AMD competition or to the 4070

Basically the 4060 isn't any better than the 3060 except for the new RT/DLSS stuff
