Greetings everyone,

Today I've started to encounter a very weird issue.

All of my games that require shaders compilation just all crash as soon as shaders compilation starts.

I wanted to play Hogwarts or COD Vanguard, Hogwarts was unable to start in any scenario but I was able to play Vanguard, I've rebooted my PC and now it says it needs to compile shaders and just crashes as soon as I open it.

I've already did a clean install of the GPU driver, my windows and BIOS are updated and I didnt change any component inside my PC, just installed my new monitor today but I think that's unrelated.

How could I fix this?

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card, or maybe latest stable version. Sometimes Windows Update can install an older version or the "microsoft certified / validated" version with features missing.

Make sure you have free space on your c: partition .... at least on my system with AMD card the shaders are cached and compiled on the c: partition

download chipset drivers also , if you reinstalled windows.

Everything was updated and all the drivers were from the manufacturers websites, I leave very little room to Windows Update when it comes to driver.

My C: drive had over 300GB of free spaces, I didnt got as far as reinstalling windows but I figured out after a bit, all I had to do was delete some folders with the games names in C:\ProgramFiles, when I relaunched the games every shader recompiled fine and I didn't have any problems since then.

Still no clue what caused it in the first place..
