I built my pc 1 days ago

 

I was trying to play some games last night and noticed that the mic on by hyperx cloud 2 headset was not working. I updated my drivers to see if that was the issue but the computer is not detecting the mic only the headset. I can hear the games just fine but specifically in Fortnite, I can't even hear the other people in the game. (The game won't allow me to join game or party chart even though I switched my mic to the headset as well as the audio)  My computer is also not picking up the mic, I tested it to see if it picked up audio from my mic and it does not. I am using the usb connector and I have also plugged it into 4 different usb ports to see if that was the issues and I can hear out of all the ports just fine. 

 

Any thoughts on where to start with trouble shooting this?
