Ryzen 7 3700x

Hi guys, i have got a curious question. I am planning to buy a used ryzen 7 3700x upgrading for a i3 10105f. My main usage is gaming and i’m pairing it with a rtx 3060ti. Would the ryzen 7 3700x be enough to feed the 3060ti or do i need something better ?

You have to upgrade the motherboard too. Why not getting a 10th or 11th gen i5/i7?

What are you paying for that? That's a Zen2 chip and really not suggested that you buy it 4 years later. In fact its older than the CPU you currently have.
