Cpu-ryzen 5 5600x

Mobo-asus b550m zaku

Cooler-deepcool captain 240pro v2

Graphics card-gigabyte eagle radeon 6600

Ram-g skill aegis ddr 4 3000 16g (2x 8g sticks)

So I just upgraded my cpu from a ryzen 3 3200g to the ryzen 5 5600x and it won't post. I performed a bios update to the latest revision while I had my old cpu in and had no issues what so ever. I ran  a couple updates after the bios update on graphics card and on the system itself and no problems. Shut everything  down and swaped the cpu out. Reinstalled cooler and powered on. Started it up and it won't post. Bios light is light up dram so I repeated both sticks and still same issue. Tried both sticks each as single channel and same issue. Tried a bios flashback but light will only flash 3 times. Any idea on what could be wrong? I had a stream planned for this weekend and would like to get it running asap

Did you do a CMOS clear? I know that a BIOS update effectively is that, but Ryzen DOES NOT do hardware changes well.
