I have a Ryzen 5 5600X with a H100i elite capilix cooler that has served me great since i got it about 8-9 months ago, but suddenly yesterday i noticed that the idle temps just on desktop were exceeding 50 degrees which is what i expect to see in a game generally on most games it hasn't exceeded 55 or 60 degrees but now all of a sudden it is just on desktop and i haven't a clue why, the load on the cpu is low but the clock speed is maxed out, im not a tech genius so idk if thats normal or not and i believe that might be causing the issue, if anyone has any ideas or solutions i would greatly appreciate it

i ran cinebench and the max temp was 62 degrees so i assume the answer will be not to worry but it just thought it was weird it was getting hotter on desktop than full load but idk

Is Windows Power Plan set to max performance? Try changing it to balanced as usually max performance will set the clock speed to maximum.

However, those idle temps are okay since Ryzen 5000 series, they are like that and for load temperatures you should be more concerned with.
