4060 8GB vs 3070 8GB

I'm upgrading from a 1060 6 GB so it's been a while, any advice would be appreciated. Looking for something in the £300 range second hand (UK) 

I'm currently looking at

4060 8GB vs 3070 8GB (I'm assuming the next big new launch won't be till 2025)

 

Trying to decide which would be the better choice

 

Upgrading as I think I'm going to have a hardtime running starfield?

the 3070 is so much faster. The 4060 barelt beats a 3060.

 

However the best option would be a 6700xt as it isnt vram limited and performs great

It's nice to post these videos because zwormz is always entertaining but it's not exactly the best way to present information to someone who just wants to know the performance relative to each other.

If starfield is your main goal the game currently heavily favours AMD hardware.

 

The settings can be turned down but the relative performance relative to each other remains roughly the same.
