Hi everyone, I have a question for anyone who is familiar with standing desks. I want to buy the Magnus Pro XL from Secretlabs, as it seems to be praised a fair bit. No matter the table, what I don't understand is how to deal with cable lengths. For the monitors, it's not an issue, I bought 2, 2 meter display port cables, but the keyboard, mouse, headphone AMP and even the Elgato stream deck(less important) I don't know what the solution is. Are USB hubs the answer? I don't know if they will cause any delay, especially because I have a wireless mouse. Main thing to keep in mind, I don't want the PC on the desk.

Setup:

Case: Lian Li 011 Dynamic EVO

-Magnus Pro can be ordered with a PC holder, but I'm not 100% sure if it's worth risking it, they say their PC holder supports up to 25kg, whilst my PC with my calculations comes to around 23KG.

Keyboard: Razer Huntsman Tournament edition

Mouse: Razer Viper Ultimate w/ docking station (the desk is made out of metal, so this docking station absolutely needs to be on the top of it)

AMP: Fiio7 paired with DT1990 Pros

Thank you in advance :D

I use the Corsair USB100 hub. It has 7 total ports, 4 USB A and 3 USB C, plus a separate data port to the PC and an included brick style power supply. It’s been very reliable for me. It does have a lag when you start the PC, but there is no lag after it is initiated. You will probably need to buy a longer USB C data cable.

I have looked into it, it does seem to be one of very few USB hubs that have a longer ish cable. Thank you for the recommendation

I just checked out their website and it seems they have a PC mount you can purchase as an add on and it will affix your PC to the table, so the PC moves with the surface. That way you won't have to worry about hubs or anything, and it looks like they have a neat way of hiding the power cables through the legs in other screenshots.
