Used CPU and GPU

I'm just wondering if theres any risk in buying a used CPU/GPU, since im planning on making a little build with a 5600X, but want to stay on budget.

The risk is the warranty (or the lack of it) and whatever level of service/reliability is attached to it.

The first risk is you're buying a broken/defective product. If possible, be there physically to check if its working before buying, otherwise try asking for benchmarks or use something with buyer protection like ebay.

Second risk is a degraded product. You buy a gpu and the previous owner never cleaned it. So just look out for things like that and if you can handle it.

Lastly, as already mentioned, there is the lack of warranty. If it breaks, you gotta find your own way of fixing it. If that doesn't really bother you then it's whatever.

Also, try not to get robbed. It can be quite dangerous, especially if paying with cash. Anyways, good luck!! What GPU were you hoping to get btw?

Yeah, im aware of risks and i know what to do in cases like oh, the seller wants to make the transaction offsite (lets say ebay), thats real sketchy. But yeah my GPU choice has changed from 3050 to 3060 since ive gotten some advice and ive made way in my budget for it
