milflover69

hi everyone!

so, I bought a used monitor from a friend. went over to his place and he showed me that on his PC it went up to 144 hz. i paid him, brought it home, plugged it in, booted my PC and for some reason it won't allow me to go higher than 60 hz. what should i do?

Did you set the display settings to 144hz?Also try using nvidia control panel and setting the desired refresh rate there. Additionally maybe by physically pressing the menu buttons on the monitor you could try and find the 144hz option and enabling it that way. Hope this helps

Which monitor is it, and how is it connected?

it's called ZOWIE XL LCD in the settings and it's connected through an HDMI cable
