Hi, referring to these

https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-500-2000-Connection-Reversable-CL-F170-PL14SW/dp/B0CCQBJTSY?th=1

I have a corsair 7000d (still sealed) and want to use these fans.

Am I correct in my understanding that these fans only use one header and then magnetically transfer the current to each other?

I saw corsair makes ames similar ones but they are kinda pricey

Ryzen 7600X | MSI Trio X 3080 | 3440x1440p asus vg34vql1b | Antec HCG 850 | 1TB WD Blue SSD | 500GB Aorus Elite | Asus B650 Strix A

Yes.

It transfers(relays) everything (Voltage, GND, PWM Signal) through the copper pads & pins touching each other. The magnet is just there to help with contact.

It's basically daisy-chaining but without extra wires.

Chinese brands have already started copying this design, including Sama, but so far I'm not impressed with Sama.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
