how can i prevent my usb pendrive from diying?

so in short i have 45 gb of data all of which are very important

is there any risk during copying process from usb to ssd of usb diying and losing all of my data?

if so what can i do?

and if copying is sucessful where can i move this data?(i mean i dont have any money to buy storage)

Do the usb drive have issues you know about? 

 

There is always a chance of random failure, but if you haven't had issues before I would just copy.

 

Storage costs money, so there isn't much you can do to get storage other than money. There are some free cloud storage, but its normally under 45gb and has its own issues..
