Suggestions for KVM?

Sabelrejen

Hi all

I'v been browsing for a while now trying to sort a suitable KVM for my setup, but I'm having trouble. I want a simple setup that will allow me to use my desktop, but also occasionally plug in my work laptop via just 1 cable without faffing about with moving USB cables.

My setup is:

- Desktop PC (For gaming, all your usual connections, including USBC (Though not for graphics card))

- Work Laptop (USB C Power/DP)

- Monitor: 2 x Display Port, 1 HDMI, 2 USB A, 1 USB B

- Wireless mouse and keyboard (with Logitech lightspeed dongles)

My trouble is:

While I CAN find a solution that would technically work, I can only find solutions with HDMI 2.0 (4K at 60Hz). I would very much prefer a Display Port outlet from a KVM.

I'm concerned I'll otherwise be gimped on my desktop monitor performance. I'm running 3440x1440p with HDR, up to 165hz refresh rate. Alienware AW3423 DWF

Note also: While I can also find a KVM with Display Port OUT, these I haven't been able to find with the hybrid input i need (DESKTOP: DP + USB / LAPTOP: USB C)

Any suggestions?

Thank you, had hoped for something less than 300+ dollars though, more like the 100-150 dollar range
