So i installed a new windows xp on my neighborhood's pc and he used it like that a couple of days without drivers because i was unable at that point to install them since he own a old pc i had to find them.He used it without them for a couple of days even if i told him not to.Last night he told me that the computer was working fine but this morning it got broken when i came to see what is wrong(because somehow he managed to kill it again)the computer was spamming some kind of error if i remember good something like that "no cd-driver detected;no floppy detected" or something like that.He also did a bios reset over the night before i came and i think that by an accident he friend the motherboard(he has no idea what he is going he saw me doing when repairing pc's and he did it without me).I re-formated his hard drive and how is even worst. The pc turns on but it stucks at first screen when it prompt the model of the motherboard(you know those old screen with logos and shit...)and i can't press or do anythin.Should i take a good look at the moherboard and see if is anything burned or dead?I also switched the rams with new ones and nothing. The windows's can't be virused because is also on my mom's pc(yes pirated version) and it working very well.I don't know what to do he always opens that pc to clean it or just see what that does or that and he manage to break it every single time.

His pc is a little old.

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

That sounds kinda bad. Probably the motherboard is dead if it can't load a bootable device. Try to tinker with the bios and boot options. Maybe install windows on his hdd on another pc. But the best option is to buy a new pc, maybe a lap top is a better solution. And I understand if he doesn't have enough money, but if it's an old pc that might be the only way to go.
