I was going to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600x but I don't know if its compatible with my motherboard (Asrock A320M-HDV) some videos and websites say that it will work or it will work after a bios update but some are saying that it will not work at all.     My current CPU is a AMD A8-9600

Consult Asrock's page for the board to see if there was a BIOS revision that supports it.

If there was, it will be a "one way" upgrade because they almost certainly eliminated support for the A8 to make room for the newer chips.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
