Lack of white AMD GPU's

PcBeExpensive

Why are there such little white AMD GPU's? This is in Australia and there are only 3 white cards? Why are there so little white cards?

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

White GPUS are niche already, there doesn't need to be a ton of variety of them. Seems like you have good choices available anyways, both Taichi OC and Powercolor Hellhound are decent cards, I don't see why you would need more choice.

Also worth noting that no filter is perfect, maybe the website you are on doesn't list the Sapphire cards for example, because they are not pure white, but mixed with other colors.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

White gpu's in general are extreme niche products with a major pricehike.

Sinxe these are niche since very few people buy these they are low production run and only done for either high end halo tier products (for people that have too much money anyway) or for a very popular gpu that sells well. Then of course way more expensive since its a limite run

Also, unfortunately AMD doesn't have the marketshare for partners to make a ton of white GPUs in an already niche market as state above.

Just to nitpick there's a bit more but your point still stands. AMD is often the choice for all value no bling buyers, so only customers who are willing to spend extra on cooler designs exist only for NVIDIA.

AMD gpus are still really expensive.   It's like they don't care if they sell cards - as long as the price is near an Nvidia card so if you don't want to spend big bucks, you can save $100.  Woo hoo!!!
