You cant oc on your board.

Dont get the i5 it's a waste of money. It wont game much better than the g2020.

What psu model do you have all these upgrades need WAY more power and if you model is low quality there is a good chance it will kill the system when you ask this load from it.

What do you have? You only posted wattage not the model.

20$ is still a lot for a very minor change. Look for a i7 then you can at least play games past 2017/2018 without heaps of stuttering.

What is the cost of these upgrades total? because a old platform like this is now 11 years old and potentially a waste of money depending on the price.

CPU upgrade is a waste of money. You need more cores in general not more real cores.

Also wouldn't bother with overclocking anything but the top bins from each generation. Not really worth it.

GPU and RAM upgrades are good

PSU is painfully low power for the 580 with all other things considered. Expect crashes from power spikes lol

Ah those psu's well yeah that has to go. Got a site where you can buy from because you'll need a quality 450w unit or up. And quality is not something that is said on the box but has to be found in reviews.

It's why there is a compilation list. https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

At least get a c tier unit at the worst.

What games do you wish to play? Because depending on that the i5 might not even be an ugprade.

Gta 5 will be stutery on the pentium and i5. Demands 8 threads to run smoothly these days

fh4 will be very stuttery on the pentium and quite stuttery on the i5. Demands 8 threads to simply race without game freezes.

Minecraft will be fine now and with the i5

Pubg is hit or miss regardless

Csgo 2 runs fine still on a pentium better on the i5

How much is a i7 2600?

Do you have the stock cooler on the pentium?

There might be a smarter way where you spend a bit more but get way more.

Have you tried looking at some used complete gaming pc's? Maybe a first generation ryzen, 8th gen intel i7,...? I have helped people from your region before and they could find alright level gaming system with a rx580 level gpu in there already for about 300$ converted currency.

With a psu upgrade and potentially better cooler needed as the stock heatsink of the pentium doesn't cut it you'll be going towards the 220$ already and then you might as well hold of a bit longer to get a pc that will last you years instead of already being not enough years ago.

No still a 4core i5. You really want a 6 core with hyper threading or smt if amd.
