I have 4x16GB TeamGroup T-Force VulcanZ DDR4 3600 CL18 RAM installed and would like to know if I can move my timings down to CL16 or even CL14. I am not a complete novice but just need some direction or suggestions. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X running PBO through the BIOS at -30 all core offset with +200 boost on an ASRock B550M Pro4 MB with an AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT "RE" powered by MSI MAG A850g PSU on Windows 11. I really dont want to use Ryzen Master or any "softwate" tuning if at all possible as I would like it to be through the BIOS.

Maybe? It depends on the memory IC on those sticks whether they time well or not. There are some memory sticks that will not do below CL18 whatever you do, and there are ones that if you pump them full of voltage will do even CL12. Only real way to find out is to go into the BIOS, try manually lowering timings, and see what happens to stability. You can check the memory IC with a program called Thaiphoon Burner, though be warned it's not 100% accurate.

Then in the BIOS just drop each measurement down one and test? And how many of the measurements do I change? Just the first 4 or more? Or is there a method/system to the drops like -1, -2, -2, -4, etc...? I believe it is SK Hynix not sure of a die type of if it matters with that brand. Sorry just trying to get all the info I can before I try and so I don't ask in 5 different replies. Lastly, would it really make much of a difference if I got it down to CL14 from CL18 with the setup I have and if it makes a FPS difference or anything else will I ,or the human eye, really perceive it?
