7950 vs. 760

Within the next few weeks, I am going to have both a GTX 760 and a Radeon 7950 for use in two different systems. One of these systems is much higher end than the other one, so I want to put the better card in the better system. The better system has a i5-3570 in it, so which GPU would be better for that system?

Although 27,000,000+ people would disagree with me.

However, and this is fact - I am right; They are wrong.

 

As far as OP's question - This is going to be dependent on the games/tasks you are wanting to do. Some games will do better on one over the other, and visa versa. So technically, one is not 'better' than the other. They are both great cards. You cant tell me one is better than the other if it plays your main game much better, can you? My point is, our answers will incur a slight bias and will be opinions. Even if listed specs are better on a certain one, doesn't mean it'll play all your games better or be best for every video editing program.  Just figure out and research the cards depending on your primary functions with it, and throw that one in the more high-end rig.

 

Sorry, just not a simple question.

Although if you want my opinion, I also say AMD 7950. Though, a GTX 770 would top it in more cases than not.

not sure why he still has such a mediocre GPU

Disney bought him? I thought those were just rumors. :/

He probably invests his money or pays YouTube to cram his channel down everyone's throats.

7950 will have more EFF PESEZ (FPS) but the 760 will have support for Shadow play and Nvidia shield.

No, Disney bought Maker Studios which is the network he's partnered with. It really has nothing to do with him other than the fact that he's the networks #1 'tuber

Anyway, 7950 is better than 760 only when you overclock it. Out of the box the 760 is faster.
