32gb low profile high speed ddr 4 memory

New pc (cpu and mb) with low profile corsair ram and since it's not an overclockable cpu,mb i want faster ram, atleast 4000mhz not much more expensive then the ultra cheap g skill 32gb 4000mhz cl 17 gvk ram, memory but it gas to be low profile ram to no have to adjust the height of the front fan on my Thermalright peerless assassin 120

Is there such ram, memory if i don't wnat to buy mushkin ram, memory (i don't wanna have 4000mhz cl 19 ram, if it has to be cl 19 it should be atleast something like 4266mhz)

Does it have to be 4000? 3600 is still plenty fast at cl16 and on 12th gen it doesn't matter too much

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

Which 12th gen CPU? Given you're on a B760 board, I'd guess you're on a non-K CPU, and those don't work reliably do 3600 in Gear 1 where you get the best performance. The 4000 CL17 and 4266 CL19 kits you're talking about get worse performance than a 3600 CL18 kit, for reference, because on the locked chips you'll be stuck in Gear 2. On the unlocked chips even 4000 is hit or miss with dual rank B die, though on there it's at least possible with a good CPU.

My specs are updated

My old mb also made by asrock i could change bckl so it was 100mhz instead of close to 100mhz

Sam problem here

I was so lucky not only does my mb support intel 12 and 13 gen, it also supports with latest (out of 2) bios intel 14 gen, so when i upgrade i have alot of option (just not used atm)

I just see again that high mhz ram is 16gb.

Im not talking about 4000mhz cl 17 ram but that i dont wanna use something like 4000mhz cl 19 ram

You didn't answer my question, I asked what CPU are you using.

Also, just saying, ASRock's listed memory specs are going to be BS. They're fairly good about listing realistic numbers with their AMD boards, but with Intel they're usually very generous (my Z170 OCF, for instance, lists support for 4400, yet I've only gotten 3866 to work even on kits capable of 4800+). Besides, the numbers they have listed are talking about Gear 2 with the unlocked CPUs, not Gear 1 with the locked chips which is going to be much lower. 3600 CL14 is the best you can hope for, and even then there's a good number of CPUs you'd have to drop down to 3466 to get it to not crash. Unless you get a good deal on a kit of dual rank B die I'd probably just go for a 3600 CL18 or 3200 CL16 kit as there isn't really that much performance difference on 12th gen, and they're half the price.

Because it doesn't make that big a difference for performance, and there's a pretty big cost difference between the two. It's the same reason I'm not recommending 3600 CL14, because it's going to be over double the cost of 3600 CL18 for at best 10% extra performance. 3600 CL16-19-19 is closer in price to 3600 CL14-15-15 than it is to 3600 CL18-22-22, yet it's closer in price to 3600 CL18-22-22 than it is to 3600 CL14-15-15. It just doesn't make sense to go for.

4000mhz cl 18 memory you can have for under 80 euros + shipping

The same with 3600mhz cl 16 ram

The problem is that there isn't many low profile 4000mhz or higher memory if i don't want mushkin, don't want to pay 200 euros, dont wanna raise my fan if the memory is to tall

My spec are updated

Remember, 3600 is 50/50 to work in Gear 1 because of the locked System Agent voltages on the 12100F. If you want to go to Gear 2, then higher speeds start working, but that doesn't start having a performance benefit until 4400+, and at that point it starts being very temperamental to work, and there are still a lot of situations like games that would prefer 3600 CL18 Gear 1 than say 4400 CL19-26-26 Gear 2.

As for CL16, it's still not really much a performance improvement. If you want to get it sure, there are kits from TeamGroup that are lower profile, but it just isn't worth it to get them.

Even my 13700K can't pass stress tests reliably at 4000 dual rank in Gear 1. My luck with the non-K chips is a bit better than average, all the ones I've used (I've built multiple friends' systems with 12400s) have been able to do 3600 reliably, but 3733 was out of the question and wouldn't even POST unless I swapped to Gear 2.
