No display or peripherals.

To start this off I made the mistake of upgrading my pc partially, my specs are:

mpg x570 gaming plus

Gigabyte 3060

ryzen 9 5900x

Thermal take 600 watt psu(this might be the issue)

2 8gig sticks of ddr4 ram

Windows 10

did a bios update to the newest version for the mobo to support the cpu chipset

 

 

i installed my new components and upgraded from my previous 2060 KO and ryzen 5 3600 and it went together with no problems, played for about 4 hours testing out the new machine, I then powered it off and headed to bed only to find out the next day that only the pc fans and gpu lights were powered on and none of my peripherals turned on and I had no display output, I took out the gpu and powered it on and the keyboard seemed to get power with just the cpu, I have a 700w psu coming in on Thursday but was curious if anybody had any input, thanks

Have you tried putting the 2060 ko in and tested it? ( if you still have it)
It will tell you if the gpu is the prob. If you can try testing the GPU on another machine.

That should be fine.. Providing it is still in good cond. As well as if it was a good psu to begin with.

Hi there!

First, you definitely should upgrade that PSU asap, and second, how about you try a new CMOS battery?

And also if you change the CMOS battery and it doesn't boot up, leave it, don't turn it off, wait around 5-10 min max and then try again.
