4 pin enough for 9700k ?

Got a very cheap 9700k and pairing it with my B365m motherboard to run at stock, is a 4 pin cpu cable enough to power the 9700k at full capability or does it benefit to use a full 8pin cable. (I only have a 4pin extender to reach)
