Budget (including currency): 1000 to 2000 NZD

Country: New Zealand

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (VR), Coding

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Current parts list:

  - MOBO: Asus PRIME B560M-A

  - CPU: i5-11400 with stick cooler

  - GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

  - RAM: 32GB

  - PSU: 750W (off brand Chinese model, the only information I can find about the brand is a video of one of them exploding well below the rated max power draw.)

  - Monitors: Currently 2 1080p 75Hz monitors.

Currently running Windows 11 though I am looking at going back to windows 10.

I play space flight sims (such as Elite Dangerous and no man's sky) and struggle to run them above low settings in vr. (ethernet to PC and Wi-Fi 6 to Quest 2).

I also do a bit of Unity development if that is relevant.

I upgraded the motherboard 2 years ago and am looking at replacing the other components (case, fans (the current fans are starting to rattle), PSU (off brand / I want a modular one) and GPU) and possibly get a third monitor (I am thinking of getting an ultra wide monitor to use as the central display).
