I've posted about this issue before, it's been pretty off and on (just like the phone) but it's at its worst ATM.

I've got a video of it so I don't have to meticulously portray it through text, linked below (apologies for the poor camera work)

 

It'll boot up, warm up to an unusual degree, then spontaneously shut down again.

 

Should I get it to a store and have them look at it?

Either the phone has hardware issues or you've installed an app that crashed the phone hard. Can't hurt to reset it to defaults first to rule that one out before them having it sent to Samsung, which means you're out of a phone for a couple of weeks.
