Help with building my PC

st1r

Budget (including currency): 1.000€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cities Skylines, CS:GO, League and Valo

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Parts in my PC that stay:

GPU: RX 7600

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C

CPU-cooler: BeQuiet Dark Rock 4

SSD: Samsung 1TB 980PRO

Parts in my PC that i want/are optional to upgrade:

CPU (definetly): AMD Ryzen 5 3600x

Mainboard (optional): b550 a gaming rog asus

RAM (optional): 32Gb of RAM. Dont know what exactly.

Power adapter (definetly): some 750W thing. Idk for sure.

I would like to buy the parts over a span of 2 - 3 Months. Im just going to put money monthly aside for the parts.

I have two Monitors. My Main Monitor has 144HZ, AOC G2490VXA LED with 1920 x1080P, and i would like to have 144FPs constantly in my multiplayer games and as much as possibly FPS for cities skylines and the upcoming cities skylines 2. I also would like to be as quiet as possible. I would be ready to spend some extra for it.

If u have further questions just ask. Idk if i can answer them properly but i will try my best!

Thanks for reading it all and thanks for the help :). Have a good day!

Continue saving until you reach your budget then post again. Prices are constantly changing and new products constantly appear.

Did you consider just upgrading to a 5000 CPU?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Given the budget you could go for a higher performance CPU. If you are mostly gaming you could consider the 5800X3D. You may also want to consider a new PSU, depends on exactly what you currently have.

I missed that part. If so then the 5800X3D would be the obvious upgrade.

the B550-A Gaming board is yours? Yeah, maxxing it out with 5800X3D would make the most sense here with the massive cache and IPC increase. What's the PSU model number, if you can discern that? Or at least some pictures. We can slip in a reliability upgrade if its a no brand. RAM Speed, or at least the sticker photo in the back? Also what's your cooler?
