Errors in some videogames after nvidia drivers update

Krystof203

So I updated my GTX 1650 drivers, and I have experienced random Fivem crash several times, even tho I was running the game smoothly, and I heard that one of things resulting in this crash could be GPU drivers, When I was in game in Tlauncher and turned on full screen, the entire launcher restarted and no matter what I have done to resolution in settings, I would get always error, that is most likely releated to GPU drivers, have I installed drivers wrong way or is it just a coincidence?

Use DDU and reinstall the latest driver. If the problem persists, get the driver version before that. Unless you're running the latest and greatest hardware, you don't really need the absolute latest driver optimizations.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

One thing that may help is to clear out the cache folders in the USER\Appdata\Local\Nvidia folder and the D3DSCache, these can cause issues with updated drivers and are not always removed using the clean install option or DDU.
