Looking for recommendations on what in ears you all fall asleep wearing. Rocked Anker SoundCore Liberty Air 2, Spirit Dot until I lost them or they died. Would normally just go buy another pair from Anker but y'know...

Not as much of a baller a Linus with his AirPod Pros, don't want headband ones either because I want to be able to use them normally as well.

Must have:

Type C charging

Decent hold in the ear

Decent audio quality

Would be nice:

Active ANC

Sub $100

EQ

May not have a backpack from LTTStore.com but big enough pockets that case size isn't really a concern.

Honestly, I don't want a mini Note 7 in my ear when I fall asleep. I currently use JBL T205 connecting to USB-C 3.5 mm adapter by Anker. I don't mind the cable and they slip out nicely and don't bother my sleep at all. I can't fall asleep with larger headphones on. I've tried the Airpods once but the sound quality does not match the price tag. For that kind of money I better get the best studio-grade headphones out there but instead you get more hi-fi garbage. Just my opinion. I get the appeal of wireless for long public commutes but other than that...... A long time a ago when I went to school, I used old Sony headphones we had and an original walkman casette player. Looked a bit strange maybe but it was comfortable and the old thick cable wasn't tangling up as much. Years later I still prefer cable over wireless, even if I have to use DAC in between. Also I am a bit clumsy in the morning so chances are I will loose them and that is a chance I am not willing to take at that price point. Haven't tried other wireless ones, my friends either have none or only apple.

The pair I had most recently, I have one ear bud and no case. Fell out of my pocket somewhere. Second time I've lost a pair but the first was after 24 hours traveling, so I don't count that.

I use wireless because I'll have something on Floatplane whilst I'm doing something and have full movement, like cooking. The lack of 3.5mm on my phone also makes wired headphones much less appealing.

I like the Nothing Ear (stick) but the price is more than I want to pay. I may end up going back to Anker because their stuff has always worked and what sensitive data could they possibly send unencrypted from those

What's your thoughts on using IEMs? I have a pair of KBear KS2's (cable is broken, thanks kitty) and was thinking of getting a new cable, then using them for sleep aswell.

Consider listening to any music from Love Live! You'll enjoy it.

Great in theory, with the demise of the 3.5mm jack on phones wired ones become inconvenient

I found out last night that Moondrop Quarks are very sleep friendly because they don't hurt your ears when you lay on your side.  They are wired though so you would need something like a fiio BTR3K, I'm using the Xduoo XP-2 Pro but that's overkill and doesn't automatically shut off at night so it'll be dead in the morning.

Audio go Brrrrrr
