I am looking for a solution that will allow me to use my headset and microphone with my work computer and gaming pc.

All of my audio currently runs through a goxlr mini.

I was getting tired of unplugging and plugging in all the time so I bought a kvm switcher. Works great for my camera, but the goxlr won't work without the goxlr app. After talking to the IT guys at work, they think there's a pretty low likelihood of getting that software approved for install.

Anybody have any other ideas? Is there a way to split the audio input/output separately to the work pc and goxlr so that I'm plugged in directly to both?

goxlr is great... if you use it as intended. this isnt how it is intended.

there's KVM switches that also switch headphone/mic inputs, have them go into the goxlr on your gaming pc, and directly into onboard audio on the work pc.

I like Xiee's suggestion, but seperately, you could use a simple headset, with 3.5mm, split both the microphone and speaker line; then plug into both PCs? I feel like it'd be likely to overload the headset's speaker but it might work?

Consider listening to any music from Love Live! You'll enjoy it.

Browsing too much and not posting enough. Feel free to PM!

So line in to headset with split cord that will plug into both the goxlr (gaming pc audio) and the work pc? I'm fine with that, but if my mic uses an xlr cable, am I able to accomplish the same thing? The work pc will only accept a 3.5 mic input, so I would need a cable that could split for xlr input on one side and 3.5 input on the other.

Didn't realize that was an option. I'll have to do some more digging. Thanks for the suggestion.
