Im trying to duplicate my pc display to my TV but it keeps extending. Updated drivers for GPU, it was working fine now it doesn't even want to work. some articles suggested to update Windows so now I'm on Windows 11 (lousy choice) It still says the same thing "extend, display1,display2". I do win+p click on duplicate but it keeps defaulting to extended. SOMEONE PLZ HELP MY DAD IS MAD AT ME!!!
THANKS IN ADVANCE. PLZZZ HELP

I have a display port connected to my monitor and PC and trying to duplicate my monitor screen to my PC wirelessly but I only see the option to extended.

PLZZZZZZ HALP!!!!!!!!!!

Never listen to the articles that start with "Update Windows!", its typically written by some AI.

So you're telling me that on your PC when trying to duplicate it, the option just isn't there?

The reason they are here is because the option is not there.

Are the TV and laptop display able to use the same resolution setting ? You can't really duplicate if the resolutions are not the same.

Yes, I would like to see a screenshot of that, as well as the rest of the Display settings menu.

EDIT: This comment looks silly now but before the merge this thread did not have the screenshot

Try setting the two screens to have the same resolution, for example 1920x1080.

I tried 3 resolutions: 1920x1080, 2560x1440, and 3980x2160.

None worked only shows extended
