just out of interest, anyone watching the qualy fir barcelona? Ferrari are looking strongish, but i'd say a few others are holding back!

I watched it. Alonso is my favorite and i hate Vettel (Red Bull team as whole).

I started watching F1 again since Räikkönen is back ^_^

Damn Ferrari. They do exceptionally well in practice, and then come 5th/6th in qualifying.

Despite the fact 20/22 races have been won by people on the front row, watch out for Raikonen tomorrow. Alonso will also get a brilliant start. Vettel will just be vettel. I'm also glad that of the two Mercedes Rosberg got pole, rather than Hamilton because the British media brown nose him far too much.

Yeah, i think Alonso may get second/third before the first turn.

I'm not really a fan of either Alonso or Ferrari, but if it means Vettel doesn't win, I'm cheering for him. Generally speaking I'm liking Hamilton the most, then Button and Raikonen. If either of those make it to the top, then I'm very happy!

Gotta love this season, so many drivers fighting for the 1st place. Nothing like a couple of years ago when Red Bull dominated the whole season.

 

I'd personally like to see Räikkönen, Hamilton and Perez on the podium much more. Also would like FIA to ban team orders so we can see some more action. But what I really am looking forward to is Turbo's coming back to F1.

Team orders were banned a long time ago, that doesnt stop some teams 'guiding' their drivers as to what they should do though.

 

On a personal note i dont like hamilton, hes a spolied wee brat. Acusing marshals of being biased against him in monoco be cause "im black" when he clearly was just driving into people, so professional hamilton.

"Guiding" is exactly the same as Team Orders to me.

 

I didn't like Hamilton when he drove for McLaren, but I see him differently driving for Mercedes for some reason. He seems to have matured a lot and not the same spoiled brat as he was.

I remember going into school as a young kid, me being a huge schumacher fan, and my friend being a huge hakkinen fan. We used to argue for hours about who was the best. I remember the battles between Hakkinen and Schumacher were just great.

I miss those days. Those were the best days. Even Kimi vs Schumi was great...but post 2002 ish it got boring and once schumi retired (the first time) i just lost all interest.

I watched it! What the hell has happened to Button!? Why is he suddenly doing so bad, he did say there were issues with the car but still, he's not been very consistent at all this year!

Yes, 5th. I'd like to see that number this year! 10, 7, 8, 10. That's this year! 

Last year he had some bad but mostly up there. I know it's early, but I hope he improves!

actually, they legalized team orders again a couple of years back after the infamous ferrari "Fernando is faster than you" saga, they knew it was going on anyway.

 

i agree that hamilton can be pretty spoiled at times, but there's no denying the talent he has. definately my favourite! the reason i started watching back in 2007 and been hooked since!

 

yeah i'd definitely be looking out for those guys tomorrow, the ferraris are astonishing off the line, plus alonso likes to show off in front of his own crowd! the mercedes will probably be vulnerable with their tyre deg problems too...

I wouldn't say legalized, they apparently the just removed the rule making them illegal :P

 

He's a good driver, but he's definitely not a 'real' champion, i don't really find him exciting to watch i much prefer kimi or alonso.

 

 

I may go to spa or silverstone, just depends on what the troops decide.

i dunno, i really enjoy the other two, but i think hamilton on his day is untouchable!

 

i think Di Resta has to get an honorary mention here too, he's having a blinder of a season after a mediocre run last year! i think he'd be delighted he isn't in a mclaren seat gettung flack for their bad performances (due to the new design philosophy on the car to be fair) and building his rep massivly at a smaller team!

 

i've wanted to go since i was about 12, and it's finally my chance! going with my two sisters and a female friend though...

yeah i think di resta could really make it in a big car. it's still on! alonso starting to pull away with it though, i doubt there'll be much catching him..
