Can you plug CPU fan into PUMP fan without burning anything?

Fan speed etc. doesn't matter. I am just asking if there is any danger.

 

Or in general, can you plug the fans wrong in any way and burn something? (Even though they are like legos, you can't go too weird)

it's the same header beside the name and the ability to drive a heavier load (pumps can take more power than fans).
