So i receantly got a r5 5500 sealed second hand to replace my 1600 which i have from launch and i installed it with my NZXT X53 AIO.

I have these temps with that usage ( just desktop and 1-2 programs open )

Cpu is 49 degrees, with no PBO nor curve optimization, and the liquid is at 34, i sadly live in greece and own no AC.
edit: now cpu is around 44C with just browsing
The pump curve is setup like that:

and AIO fans are usually at 45-55%.

I find the temp difference a bit weird since i have the Kryonaut Extreme paste applied, i got it so i could repaste my 6900XT for OC, with a spread and my 1600, oced to 4.025GHz was around 67 full load, cinebench, and 35 idle, ambient was around 5-7 degrees less then.

Is there a problem with my mount? maybe my CPU? should i change my fan config, its only pull for now, to push and pull?

Thanks for your time in advance : )

I'm not understanding what the problem is. 49C is a great temperature for a CPU.

Idle temperatures don't mean much. What is the temperature under full load?

My OCed 1600 was 35 at idle, while this one which is completly stock and "new" is at 49
edit: ambient was at least 5 degrees lower

Sounds about right then. Thats quite a high ambient temp, Ryzens are known to run a little hotter on idle than intel.  49c is still great idle temp, what is the main take here is what is your load temp.

What is the temperature under load? Temperatures at idle are not a good gauge of how well your cooling is working.

at fulll load i would see 72-74C on CPU and 36-37C on the liquid at 4.2Ghz

just got 9405 score on cinebech btw

Don't see any issues here...

A 5500 is so cool even blowing yourself on it may suffice, an AIO is pure overkill 😄

Then why is the idle temp so high ) :

I'd personally say that 49 idle is not too terrible? I'm at 24°C ambient and I sometimes sit at mid 50s with my fans turned down, I'd suggest honestly just raising your fan speed slightly until it starts to get annoying for you, just keep it ever so slightly below that?

Its already a bit annoying, the fans are higher compared to when i had my 1600.

In the BIOS (asrock) i have the fans in standard mode since performance mode is little too loud

To be fair i have an i7-13700KF, sooo temperature is NOT a 1-1 and I'm using a 240mm AIO...
