internet won't work

WiFi works fine, wired Ethernet to my computer isn't working, please help.

Is the cable broken, are both of the clips on the cable "Click" when you pluged it into the ethernet port.

Did that. Windows said no cable plugged in

if you have another pc or laptop, something that can used wired net try that to make sure its not the pc itself.

Try putting the same ethernet into another computer and see if it works.

open network sharing center and go to adapter setting. the wired LAN adapter may be diabled or the pc might be priortising the wireles adapter disable it and see if theat fixes the problem. also a tip disabling your wirles adapter whyle on batery will give you longer batery life.

DId you try to use a separate computer with the same cable. If that does not work use a different cable and then try your computer that was having the problem

oh ok i thought you were on a laptop. your orignal post made it sound that way. also i see this isue on laptops all the time.
