Hey everyone.

I am not new to tech and not an amateur by any means.  However.  I have Windows 11 and it constantly likes to replace my AMD Graphics Drivers with its own drivers which causes all sorts of issues and I have to uninstalled and revert and re install drivers.  Is there anyway I can stop Windows from doing this.  I searched Google and found steps but they dont seem to work at all.  Any input would be great.  It happens at least once a week.

I am running Win11 and an AMD 6700 paired to a Ryzen 7 3700x

Yep.  And Im about ready to get a hold of Microsoft directly and see what they are doing?  Because its getting super annoying.   Ive never had an AMD card do this.  Its whatever Microsoft is doing on their end.  Or im about to get a copy of Windows 10 and get rid of Win 11.

You can use Microsoft's Driver Hiding utility (direct download link bellow):

https://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f22d5fdb-59cd-4275-8c95-1be17bf70b21/wushowhide.diagcab

It will hide a selected driver found under Windows Update, until a new version comes out.

Aside from this, you can only complain to AMD. They are the one that has issued these drivers to Windows Update.

I had a similar problem, when with my Ryzen 7700X, where I was using the iGPU of the CPU. The latest AMD drivers broke HDMI 2.1 and DP DSC, dropping my dual 4K 144Hz monitor to one at 4K 60Hz, and the one 4K 60Hz with reduced colors or 4K 30Hz (those were my choices, beside dropping down to 1080p). After 2-3 months, AMD finally fixed up their drivers, and all is good since.
