Would this CPU, MOBO, and RAM be a good combo?

Go to solution Solved by Why_Me,

You have the motherboard linked twice as in no link to the cpu.

Switch your RAM to this (AMD EXPO).

G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 32GB (2x16GB) CL36 $94.99

Budget (including currency): Around $200 for CPU, around $170 for MOBO, and $100 or less for RAM

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Satisfactory, Fortnite Ultra, new ARK, Rocket League, probably future graphic intensive games.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current set up is B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC paired with a Ryzen 5 5600. The CPU cooler is a Scythe Fuma 2. 6700xt overclocked. 3600mhz cl-18 ram. 650-watt power supply. I am planning on upgrade the Motherboard, CPU, and RAM. The motherboard will be upgraded to GIGABYTE B650 Gaming X AX. The CPU to a Ryzen 5 7600. The ram to CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36. I have provide links below. Is their any problem with this upgrade? Will my power be okay? Is the motherboard and CPU a good combo? Should the ram be lower CAS Latency? Any help needed! I am most iffy on the ram as I am new to DDR5. EDIT- My current monitor is a 165hz 1440p Pixio monitor.

Thank you I have corrected the link. This ram you linked is meant for AMD CPUs I guess? The original ram said Intel XMP, what does this mean? Also, would it be worth spending an extra $30 to get Ryzen 5 7600x? Lastly, is this ram linked above compatible with the motherboard linked above? It says X670 chipsets.

AMD Expo is AMD's version of Intel XMP. As far as the cpu goes, I would stick with the one you chose. It runs cooler and there's only a few fps difference between that and the X version.

I just read that the CPU cooler that worked on AM4 sockets are not compatible with AM5 sockets. Is this true? If so, does that mean my Scythe Fuma 2 Cooler is useless?
