How do I boost my wifi Signal

My router and modum are in a room that it acrros the house, and my room where I keep my computer xbox and other things are expreiencing little to no internet conneciton. What should I buy in order to fix my problem.

Buy an AP.

 

Best thing to do would be connect it directly to the router via CAT5e cable. Or you could probably put it into some kind of bridge mode where you subscribe that AP to an SSID and it repeats it.

Powerline Adapters have worked awesome for me.

Powerline would work well, maybe MoCA, so long as you don't accidentally trip a breaker.  

 

Also, what kind of router do you have and where is it located?
