i dont know a whole lot about pcs and im looking to upgrade to am5 and ive seen a couple bundle deals at micro center like this one

Prime day deals have been very mediocre for a long time

 

i highly doubt anything during that sale will match anything near that MC deal

I've seen some things saying that ram can be bad. Both the cpu and mobo are on sale themselves. Would it make more sense to just buy them separately and buy better ram somewhere else? Would cost more but more reliable?

Yeah their 6000C36 kit leaves a lot to be desired but really as @Why_Me puts it: nothing wrong with that.

 

You could tighten the timings on your own though but DDR5 overclocking hasnt been as well mapped as DDR4 so youre still mostly on your own.
