My motherboard has recently started turing the CPU light(?) on during loading screens and during some heavier gaming. It always does turn itself off again after a bit however (talking maybe 5 seconds). When the light goes on it usually freezes the computer for 1-2 seconds before answering again. Looking at task manager meanwhile I can't see anything unusal during the time, everything stays as before so no spikes. Have anyone knowledge about this / have sugestions for what it could be?

Computer has also been a bit slower lately, am considering doing a clean install of windows so was wondering if anyone thought this also could help in case there's programs running that "shouldnt" or malware(?)

Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS
The light is somewhere within the marked area in the picture provided i believe.ASUSTUFGAMINGZ490-PLUS.thumb.png.00d6e6b04e6fbb081b9b7fd1261b52f5.png

Did you already reset the bios?

Also a good idea to update the bios to the latest version.

Did update the bios not too long ago, still the newest version out. The problem started a good while after. Have also updated from windows 10 to 11 in case that would be interesting. This was however also before the problem started
