Broke my monitor and need new recommendations

razor_fist

Hi All

My old monitor was a BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 144 Hz. It was good enough as I mostly play FPS, CSGO majority of the time.I built my PC back in 2018 and it has a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC.

I'm looking for a similar monitor or maybe a slight upgrade that my graphics card can run. I had the below criteria in mind when started looking.

Budget about £300

24-27 inch
144 HZ or more
1080 or more(Considering 1440P)
Fast response time

I have my options slimmed down to the below, Wanted a second opinion on what would be the best option. Any new recommendations will be cool too.

Gigabyte 27" G27Q

ViewSonic OMNI XG2431

ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM

Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQWRXXU

Thanks

My move would be to put 1080p and 144hz into the filter on pcpartpicker and see what they have.  For $300 you might be able to get a 4k/27”/144 and just run it at 1080p a lot of the time or FSR up. 4k/4=1080 so they do it quite well.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
