Buying a new gpu

Recently when I was gaming and I had a power outage during it. My 1080ti sparked and started smoking so dealing with that was fun. Surprisingly after that it still kind of works, but the only game I can play is Minecraft before the texture update, but besides that my gpu can no longer run my more graphic demanding games so I need a new one. I was thinking about getting rx 6600 xt, is that a good upgrade from the 1080ti or should I go with something different if the 6600 xt is a good idea which one should I get?

Are you looking for an upgrade, or is the same good enough? 

An upgrade would be nice, but my budget is about 200$ max rn so I’m doing what I can with that, but I am open to suggestions, but which rx 6600 xt would be the best for me to buy

The 6600 XT is a low-power card, so none of them are especially better.  Find a good sale, or find one you really like the design of.

What gpu do you think could get cod at a steady 150 hz I’ll probably save up for the future. I currently have a 240hz monitor

framerate will vary by title, and graphics settings.

 

But looking for 150+ fps?  the 6600xt's gonna struggle most of the time

Ok, I’m gonna go with it for now, bc all I really want right now is just to be able to play my games again, but thank you very much for the help.
