I'm looking at building a new system as I'm currently on a 8400 and 1050ti. I was just messing around on PC part picker and micro center and found this https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006269/AMD_Ryzen_7_7700X,_MSI_B650-P_Pro_WiFi,_GSkill_Flare_X5_Series_32GB_DDR5-6000_Kit,_Computer_Build_Combo It's a 7700x with a msi B650 and 32 gbs ddr5 for $450usd. I feel like it's obviously a good deal when compared to buying the parts individually but do these deal change a lot or are they pretty consistent. Is it something that will go away soon or can I wait awhile and make sure I want to do this upgrade and such a large one before I pull the trigger. Basicaly, do these deals last a long time?

Deals happen all the time but THIS particular deal might not stay for a long time.   I have been an intel boy since forever,  Q6600 - I7-950 - i7 2600k - 6600k - 9900k...That being said,  I bought a 7700x in November and its my first AMD CPU and I am extremely happy with the purchase, its lightning fast and does what I want in gaming ( Paired with 32GB DDR5 and RTX 4080 ). I am using a B650 motherboard as well.
I absolutely love this thing. Can't recommend it enough 😄

As someone who used to work at Micro Center I am perfect to answer this question.

This particular deal might last about a month. If it does end there is always another one right after. Also don't forget about the Build Bundle Discount too, it takes an additional $30-$50 off a CPU & Motherboard.

This current deal is OK at best. The thing you have to watch out for is the RAM. Ryzen loves fast RAM and the kit here is 6000mhz CL36. It should be 6000mhz CL30-CL32. If you go down there you can ask if they can switch out the kits and usually they are pretty cool about that if you ask and are willing to pay a few dollars more to cover the added cost if there is any. I have seen a higher CL RAM kit cost more than a lower one. You might not even need to pay anything extra.

I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. For Future Communication I use Discord for much Faster Response Times as I have it open 24/7. I am also available if you need help before, during, or after the Build Process on Discord through Text,Voice, or Video Chat. I can be with you while you build your new PC if you need me to be. Here is my Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772

Micro Center Build-A-PC deal is year round basically. I agreed with @PC HEROES that right now it would be better for you to go on your own packages for AMD. Im still waiting for the Raptor Lake deal to come around.
