So I just installed my new Corsair H100i cpu cooler with 2 sp120's quiet edition to go with it. My old cooler was a single Zalman cooler. The problem is that that these new temps are higher than the old one, and I have more rad but have slower fans. My old idle was around 35c and my new idle is around 40c???? Should I replace the thermal compound with IC Diamond as I have did that with my old cooler.

Please i want to keep these fans do not suggest notchuas.

I had the same problem with mine. The pre-applied thermal paste is terrible. I applied my own and the temps dropped and I was able to overclock.
