Vive Cosmos causing 1 long beep 4 short beeps preventing computer start

Hi there,

As mentioned in the title, my vive cosmos is sometimes preventing my computer from starting, the motherboard reporting with 1 long beep and 4 short beeps, indicating that the fan or something is not running. I know for sure that the fan does run when I play VR games and so on and it looks like it is just a startup issue. Sometimes its a hit or miss and I am able to start the computer with the vive cosmos plugged in after multiple restarts.

Could you please help me in solving this issue?

I do not want to wear out the connectors all the time having to unplug and replug just so that my PC can start.

Specs:
Motherboard: Asus Pro-Art B550 Creator
VR: Vive Cosmos (Original blue version with inside out tracking, not the one that comes with the Steam bases)

Probs a usb overcurrent protection. The cosmos causes that issue.

 

Get a usb 3.0 hub with a on off switch.
