Built a Brand new computer recently

Whenever i tried to activate XMP to 7200 mhz pc wont boot, clear cmos and Mobo goes back to default settings.

activated XMP again and still same issue. Goes stable at 5800.

Ram supports 7200MTS

Mobo 8000

intel 13900ks MINIMUM 6400 (if not mistaking)

Heard Thermalright can cause memory issues, and that i might have underthightened it.

tried to remount it and did a reverse clock til i head a click.

i rotated in X pattern with 1/8 of a full rotation to lower it nicely down to the cpu.

turned on the computer and now it wont even Get into bios, just black screen.

i Get all the Asus error codes that i got when enabling XMP from previous, but now i dont even have XMP enabled?? Also i Get an orange light over the asus error code, which suggest Dram issue; that orange light is new.

Is it the thermalright which is f**king me over here? Also tried with 2 new pairs of 7200 mhz ram sticks which i borrowed from a friend. Still same errors and black screen.

And if trying to test with less pressure on the thermalright / swapping back to intels ILM to see if it works.

can i use no thermal paste while troubleshooting? Because im close to empty.

specs:

i9-13900ks

Asus Maximus Z790 Apex

4090 Asus Strix

NZXT Elite 360 AIO

2x990Pro 1TB SSD

corsair 1500W PSU Platinum

case H9 Elite Dual Chamber

DDR5 Ram G.Skill 7200 mhz silver/black

Lian Li UNI fan x10 120mm

THERMALRIGHT LGA 1700 BRACKET

Some of the error codes it can stop on is 7F, D6. With green, Orange light.

tried reseating the GPU, doesnt help.
