Budget (including currency): 570e I could eventually put 100e - 150e more

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly Borderlands 3, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just have one 1080p monitor.

If there's no wifi chip with the mobo, i have to take  a wifi captor?

I would just like that Borderlands 3 run at at least high with +60fps stable.

Tell me if i forgot to precise smth. Thank you for your time guys 1650830053-zfbe.png

This looks like a great build, one thing you might consider at least down the line if not right away is a second drive for games. SSDs are cheap enough now that it is going out of fashion but on a tight budget like this a HDD is still a solid option for mass storage and modern games will eat up the 512gb drive super fast. It is also a super easy upgrade to make in 6 months if you don't have the budget for it today.

5500 + 5700xt + 16gb 3600c18

Immedeatly theres some stuff youll wanna optimize by going used

Mobo wise try looking for a used b350 or b450 board

Psu wise also look around for a used 600-850w, 80+ bronze will do fine but if you find a good deal on an unrated unit or something like that just post here to evaluate quality

Case wise all the <60€ ones are garbage no airflow so better off dumpster diving for a free office case and taking the sidepanel off or at most paying 10€, you wanna waste as little as possible on the case at this budget

All essential to save more money, maybe even get a better gpu like a 6600xt or 6700xt

As for performance optimizations

Ram is absolutely not ideal and youll want the fastest you can get since the cpu has a very good imc and it has a cache deficit over the 5600. Look for some used m378a1g43eb1 2133 sticks, predecessor to bdie so very good subtimings, idiot proof (unkillable even >2v and the mobo tops out at 1.8v), and 4600+ capability, will need a fan to take advantage of higher volts. As for a dumbed down oc methodology vdimm = 1.6v, vsoc ~1.3v, freq target = 4400, primaries = 20-26-26-26-52, trfc = 400, command rate = 2t, Everything else auto, adjust vdimm and vsoc if neccesary

Cpu wise buy a 2$ lga 775 copper core and ziptie to the cpu, much better than a crappy wraith stealth, set vcore to 1.4v medium/no llc and see how far itll go, should be able to do around 4.7-4.8ghz allcore

Thank you for your response. Unfortunatly there's not exactly the parts you listed. Do I really need to change the mobo? Will changing it improves performances?

There's no 6600xt at a good price here (715e), maybe is should change it to a 6650 xt?

Quick wonder before i build my entrant: Is OP fine shopping in other benelux/EU nations or do they wanna stick to Belgium inventories? Even going down to the sinking nation (read: the dutch) would be a good idea.

Take either or that is the cheapest, theyre basically the same card. 6650XT is just an off-the-factory overclock job of 6600XT.
