I have had a 7900XT for 6 months now and it works great but the software is GARBAGE. I have to re-enter my fan curve every time I restart my computer.

I also cannot find in the global display settings where to change the refresh rate of your display. It's like it was forgotten to but put into the software. Where the f am I supposed to go to find it??

Is your user account one with Admin privilege? If not, that could explain why the fan curve doesn't save.

Typically, for custom fan curves, we use msi afterburner.

As for the refresh rate... Might need to create a Custom Resolution if you want to select some random refresh rate that isn't officially supported by your monitor's display settings of windows

I don't personally use AMD's software for this, I used MSI afterburner for the fancurve. But my settings usually save without issues for the other stuff.

I also much prefer AMD's modern looking settings that are relatively feature complete when you know your way around it, compared to Nvidia's Windows 98 interface.

What version driver are you using?

Are you still on the same driver from 6 months ago?

Did you create the fan curve and save it to a profile?

You can then set it so it loads the profile on start-up.

If you DON'T save it to a profile, and say...the drivers crash or something, then you will lose it... just like making BIOS changes and you need reset it.

The refresh rate is NOT within the AMD Adrenalin software.

It is under the Display settings within Windows.

Right-Click on Desktop -> Display Settings -> Advanced Display properties -> Monitor (if Windows 10 or older) -> Refresh rate.

Fan curve saves just fine for me, but if my PC hard crashes (it sadly do sometimes but it's a few weeks or month I'm between do...) It resets together with clock speed/ OC settings.
