right cablemod sett

Go to solution Solved by gen_angry,

The only thing that matters for cablemods is that you get the right type of cables for the power supply that you have (so in your case, Corsair RM850e -> C-Series Type 4 according to this list). None of the other specs really matter as it's all standardized.

So any of these should work (or custom if you're looking to go that route).

What you mean set? You go to cablemod's site and chose which cables you want. Usually these are 24pin, 8pin (or 2x4) EPS and 3x PCIe 6+2pin.

But €2500 for a 4070 build is just a f**king crime.

Also, as someone who has the exact same Asus monitor you posted there, if you haven't bought the system yet, change the monitor to LG 27GP850-B

The Asus is worse in every single possible metric, including build quality. But i understand about the VESA mount. If you are not constricted by space then, get the Dell G3223D. Not DGF, just D. It's basically the same monitor, but it's "32 inches instead of "27, has better brightness, FreeSync Premium Pro in addition to G-sync, USB-C and it's 2 years newer. I really wish i knew this when i was buying the Asus half a year ago.

Oh f**k... i went with PcPartPicker desribtion and didn't even check in google. It DOES have VESA 100x100. It's the clear choice then. It's truly so much better. Supports 10-bit color over DP up to 180Hz where the Asus tops out at 120Hz.

I only looked because it seemed odd for it to not have one when even the G9 has 100x100. Not sure I'd trust a 100x100 mount with my monitor though when it gets to be that heavy.

I still have my own opinion against the 4070Ti , ESPECIALLY at €1000 price tag, but it is what it is. Personally for that price i'd go 7900XTX, but then i'd mainly use it for gaming so...
