PC won't boot with 2TB HDD

Recently just bought a new 2TB Seagate Firecuda HDD for mass storage.

It's not formatted and when I connect it with SATA and power it won't boot to Windows BUT stays on the boot screen

My storage config is as follows

  • Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB (boot drive)
  • WD Black 500GB HDD (nothing in it)
  • Kingston A2000 1TB Nvme SSD (games and media)

My mobo is a Gigabyte DS3H

pls help 馃槥

PC: Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB 3200mhz RAM (8GBx2), Gigabyte B550M DS3H, GTX 1050 2GB, 650W Semi-Modular PSU80+ Gold

Phone: Poco F3 8GB + 256GB

Audio: Samson SR850s

Sound Card: SoundBlaster Play 4 USB sound card

Reset CMOS

Edit: do I have the drive plugged in after resetting the CMOS?

Some MBs loose a sata port or two when installing an NVME drive.

Try changing the sata port you have your drive connected to.

make sure u have the pc unpluged for it

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

Tried in every other sata port and still nada

What does the boot menu look like when this happens?

When the 2tb drive is plugged in with SATA it just stays on this screen indefinitely.

Ordinarily it only takes 10s from this screen to Windows.

BIOS doesn't detect the drive at all tho

It detects my other 2 drives but not the new one
