Isint it kinda like rendering about 8,000,000 pixels , 144 times a second and still GPU usage stays the same at 1% , like what? , thats a TON of calculations to do perfectly in just 1 second to just say to me "0%"???

Yes but its a stationary picture. Whenever you start it up at any time it will always be at a high percentage due to it having to render the image of the wallpaper, app icons, taskbar etc.

Then after that, until you open anything that isn't running in the background, it will go up as, for example, task manager on the wallpaper. The GPU needs to render the shadow of the windows on the wallpaper as well as the window itself.

I.e. It does those calculations either beforehand or when you start it up. And then its just a stationary picture

Before you read this , im not suffering any problem related to a fake or unstable GPU percentage , but i just wanna know how Windows actually manages to utilize like only 0-1% of our GPUs power to display our monitors.

Like even if you have the most weak GPU in the world , still task manager and other programs says "GPU Load: 0-1%" if your doing absolutely nothing but just using the operating system and opening some windows , but HOW? , you just open a slightly demanding app and BOOM , GPU usage increases to heaven (with a weak GPU scenario).

Like even if your display is like 4K resolution with its 144Hz refresh rate or something like that , why it still uses around 1% of its capacity rendering that but you just open like a "simple" program and the percentage suddenly starts increasing , like how does he even manage to do that anyway in the first place??

Isint it kinda like rendering about 8,000,000 pixels , 144 times a second and still GPU usage stays the same at 1% , like what? , thats a TON of calculations to do perfectly in just 1 second to just say to me "0%"???

Anyway if somebody smart enough to know what the correct answer is and casually enters this post , then please just tell me it , really haved that question in my head for a while now and still havent find a good answer that convinces me.
